4mm Vibram XS Edge (Firm)

  • One of the finest edging rubber on the market

  • Designed for pushing hard on the tiniest of footholds

  • Best used for face climbing  

  • Excels on the smallest of edges

  • Not as good on low-pressure smears

4mm Vibram XS Grip 2 (Softer and Grippy)

  • One of the most popular compounds on the market today

  • Excels on friction dependent smears yet still performs well on smaller edges

  • Versatile all-arounder that provides an excellent balance between edging and overhung-climbing performance

  • Comes stock on the softest shoes in the Scarpa and La Sportiva lineup

  • Best for the lightest climbers

  • Available in 2.5mm “No Edge” split soles for La Sportiva Futura, Genius, Marerink, Speedster and Theory

4mm FiveTen Stealth C4 (Softest and Sticky)

  • The rubber that made Five Ten famous 

  • Stickier but less firm than Grip 2

  • Excels at smearing and slab

  • Great for overhangs

  • Good for edging when new

  • Edges do not not last as long on exceptionally small feet for heavier climbers

  • Distinguished for decades on both Sandstone and Granite 

4mm Davos Stick Zero (Firm and Grippy)

  • Italian sole manufacturer Davos’ top-of-the-line product

  • A no-memory rubber that adapts to any surface and type of grip and does not make rebound effect for perfect adherence to the rock face

  • Firmer than Vibram XS Grip2 while still being ultra sticky

  • Excels at overhangs and face climbing

5mm  Davos Stick Zero  (Firmer and Grippy)

  • Will last longer than the 4mm version but decrease sensitivity somewhat

  • Well suited for heavier climbers and those who don’t mind sacrificing sensitivity for durability 

4mm Davos Stick Plus  (Firmer)

  • The hardest rubber available so it will deform less than any other rubber

  • Firmer than Vibram XS Edge but still maintains it’s grippiness
